Owner Obligations

  • Subject to you paying the fee and performing your obligations under this agreement you may peaceably hold and enjoy the caravan during the letting period without interruption from us

  • We will insure the property and the contents of the property that belong to us

  • We will refund the deposit on satisfactory inspection on the caravan

You Agree To

  • Occupy the property for Holiday use only.

  • Only allow up to 8 guests at the caravan and not exceed this at any time during your stay.

  • Advise the owner if you are expecting overnight visitors who are not named on the guest list.

  • Pay the balance by the deadline date.

  • Keep the Caravan in a good clean condition.

  • Replace/repair any items which are broken or damaged during the letting period.

  • Clean any cutlery/crockery items used before leaving.

  • Keep noise from becoming too loud and disturbing the neighbours.

  • Give the property back at the end of the letting period in the same clean state and condition it was at the beginning of the letting period (reasonable wear and tear and damage by insured risks excluded).

  • Inform the owner of any damage with good notice in order to fix before other guests arrive.

  • Shut all windows, lock all doors and set the alarm while you are away from the caravan.

  • Return the key and fob to the key safe where you collected it from on your arrival.

  • Allow the owner or anyone with the owners written permission to enter the caravan at reasonable times of the day to check its condition and state of repair providing you have been given reasonable prior notice (Excluding emergencies).

  • Allow the owner of anyone with the owners written permission to enter the caravan at reasonable times of the day to carry out necessary repairs and gas inspections, providing you have been given reasonable prior notice (Excluding emergencies).

  • Remove all rubbish and personal items at the end of the letting period.

  • Turn any electrical and gas items off when not in use or away from the caravan.

You Agree Not To

  • Damage the caravan or any of the contents.

  • Make any alterations changes or additions to the inside or outside the caravan.

  • Do anything at the caravan, which may be a nuisance or annoyance to other caravans.

  • Use or occupy the caravan in any other way than as a private holiday residence.

  • Assign, sublet, charge or part with or share possession of occupation of the property or any part of it.

  • Keep or allow any pet of any kind at the caravan without prior consent.

  • Bring noisy vehicles to the park (Lorries, jet ski’s, boats).

  • Charge an electric car using the caravan electricity at any time.

  • Remove bedding or any item from the caravan.

  • Use the gas hob to heat up the caravan.

  • Exceed the parks 10mph rule.

You Understand that

  • You are accepting legal responsibility for any breaches of the conditions and will be liable to any additional damages/charges on behalf of all those named on the guest list.

  • Your valuables are your responsibility and should not be left on show.

  • Babies and Children count as one person.

  • You are accepting responsibility for the full guest list regarding their behaviour whilst on the Haven site.

  • Only the persons named on the booking form will be entitled to occupy the caravan unless the owner has been advised and approved their stay.

  • Breaching these conditions will result in eviction from the caravan, with NO REFUND.

  • You will lose your deposit if you cancel your booking or do not pay the balance by the deadline date.

  • Ball games such as football, Rugby and Cricket should be played in the designated areas and not in the spaces between caravans.

  • If there is any damage/goods missing/extra cleaning needed/Loss of keys etc then charges will be taken out of the bond before the refund is made.

  • The owner has the right to recover the cost of any damage, broken items, extra cleaning and loss of keys above the deposit amount.

  • Haven do holidays with couples and families in mind and do not accept hen or stag doo’s, and you will be asked to leave if you break these rules and will not be refunded.

  • This agreement is not an assured tenancy and that no periodic tenancy will start at the end of the letting period.

  • The price quoted will not be changed.

  • If you do not pay the amount by the date given your holiday will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.

  • If you need to cut your holiday short or cancel for any reason, you will not receive a refund for your holiday.

  • It is your responsibility to make sure your personal belongings are insured, and the owner will not be liable for theft, loss or damage to your personal belongings.

  • The owner cannot take responsibility or pay compensation for things that are beyond their control (Fire, Floods, Weather damage, criminal activity).

  • Breaking the terms of this contract will result in you being asked to leave the caravan immediately without a refund.

  • Any problems with the park or facilities should be taken up with Haven office in the reception area. 

  • As a private letting guest, play passes will not be automatically included, and you will need to  purchase these from Haven to access the facilities and activities.

  • It is your responsibility to look after the children on the guest list during the letting period while you are in the caravan and around the park.

  • The caravan is a non-smoking area (Including vaporisers and e-cigarettes) and If you are found using these at the caravan, you will be charged the cost of a deep clean.

Dogs

If you have agreement to take a dog(s) to the caravan

  • Please take/use dog bags on your dog walks and dispose of in the bins provided by the park.

  • Dogs should be on a lead at all times and should be kept under strict control.

  • Dogs should not be left alone at the property.

  • A maximum of two dogs are allowed.

  • Dog beds and bowls are not supplied.

  • Please remember the van can get pretty hot when all doors and windows are closed in the hot weather, just like being in a car.

  • Please do not allow the dog(s) on the beds.

  • You will be responsible for any damage and extra cleaning required caused by the pet.

Important information

  • The caravan address and code for the key box will be provided before your stay.

  • If you leave some things behind please inform us as soon as possible, we will do what we can to get this back to you, however we will not be liable if the item(s) is not found or damaged. If found postage will be taken from your deposit.

  • We recommend taking travel insurance as should you fall ill, be made redundant, or be called to jury service we cannot refund your holiday after you have made full payment.

  • The bins can be found at the entrance to the caravan’s area (Area will be provided to you before your stay).

  • If you have taken the bedding pack these are not to be removed from the caravan.

  • Please strip all beds and leave used bedding in center of living room.

  • You must be 18+ to book the caravan, minors are permitted to stay in the caravan alone provided that the lead guest adult assumes responsibility.

  • Caravans are prone to condensation. In order to help reduce this please keep windows slightly ajar while you are in the van and use the night latch during the night. Keep the shower door closed and the extractor fan on while showering. Keep lids on saucepans while cooking. Keep the heating on low for longer periods rather than blasting out heat. Leave all cupboard doors, drawers and bedroom doors open when you leave.

  • If the smoke alarm sounds, vacate the caravan and isolate the gas and contact someone on site, in an emergency please call 999.

  • If you have a BBQ please ensure this is positioned away from the van and the external gas bottles.
